Their story

Douglas, Shepherd mix, 23 kg

Douglas is a wonderful boy, rescued from the pound after being helped by a kind person. Currently in a boarding kennel in La Réunion, he’s waiting for his forever family and can join his home anywhere in France thanks to «the big iron bird» ✈️.

My character

Douglas is a true love with humans ❤️. Very affectionate, he can however develop over-attachment, so some limits will need to be set with gentleness. Smart, he needs a firm but kind owner («an iron fist in a velvet glove»).
Energetic and playful, he’ll need regular exercise and loves water 🌊.
Douglas has a dominant personality and will need to be the only male animal in the home. A house with a garden would be ideal for him. His training still needs to be continued with patience and consistency.
